RUN GROUPS (LAP TIME-BASED ASSIGNMENT)
Drivers are grouped by lap times & awareness. Instructors/staff may reassign drivers. Intermediate & Advanced require experience. Use these lap times as a guide:
Beginner: 2:16 - 2:40
Novice: 2:11 - 2:15
Intermediate: 2:07 - 2:10
Advanced: SUB 2:06
Lap Timing: Drivers must use a transponder to lap times (you may use your own) or get Track Addict or Hot Laps (free app). Please download and set it up before the event.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Helmets are mandatory (Snell SA2015 or Snell SA2020 certified). DOT helmets are NOT allowed.
Passengers will be allowed to ride along for this event. Both Drivers & Passengers must wear a SNELL rated helmet.
Chuckwalla Valley Raceway does not provide any helmet rentals. It will be your responsibility to provide your own.
TECH INSPECTION REQUIREMENTS
This is a self-tech event—drivers are responsible for ensuring their vehicles are track-ready.
A completed and signed tech form is required at check-in on the morning of the event.
We reserve the rights to verify compliance with safety standards.
No refunds will be issued for vehicles that fail to meet safety requirements.
CONVERTIBLE & OPEN-TOP VEHICLE POLICY
Vehicles must have proper rollover protection to participate.
Factory roll hoops/pop-up roll bars (e.g., BMW Z3/Z4, Honda S2000, Porsche Boxster) are permitted.
Vehicles without factory or aftermarket rollover protection (e.g., early Miatas, pre-2014 Mustangs, C5 Corvettes) are not allowed unless a roll bar/cage is installed.
If unsure whether your vehicle qualifies, contact us before the event for approval.
EVENT FEES
Chuckwalla Valley Raceway charges a $20 gate fee per person (paid upon entry).
Fuel station with self-service pumps and race fuel is available on-site.
Gift shop with souvenir apparel available.
TICKET TERMS & CONDITIONS
All ticket sales are final—no refunds for any reason. This includes cancellations, failure to attend, no-shows, or early departures.
Tickets are valid only for this event and cannot be transferred to future events or used as credit.
Driver-to-driver ticket transfers are permitted with prior approval. Requests must be submitted in advance.
The event will proceed rain or shine—no exceptions.
Failure to comply with event safety rules, track policies, or staff instructions may result in removal without refund.
